No notes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis glorious blue beast is \u003cstrong\u003eBear With Me\u003c\/strong\u003e, because I am four paintings into a completely unplanned series of 100 and honestly, that feels like a reasonable request. Things are going to get weirder before they get....actually, I'll stop right there.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBear with me.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI have no idea where we're going.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe bear doesn't know either.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBut unlike me, he appears entirely unbothered.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI love his face. He's big and scruffy and loosely painted in layers of turquoise, navy, violet, mossy green and little flashes of gold and pink. He looks simultaneously enormous and like he'd quite like you to give him a little scritch behind his ears.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhich feels appropriate for a bear. Except the scritching, don't do that, you'll die.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePerhaps there is a tiny bit of meaning sneaking into this one despite my best efforts.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBecause bears don't seem terribly concerned with being productive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey eat.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey wander around.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey investigate things.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey take extremely long naps.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey emerge when the time is right.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFrankly, \u003cstrong\u003ethe bear has cracked the fucking code.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMaybe Painting No. 4 is a reminder that we don't always have to know where we're going.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSometimes we can just follow whatever looks interesting.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMake the thing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTake the nap.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEat the snack.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnd trust that eventually we'll find our way.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBear with me.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are 96 paintings left.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNOBODY knows what's coming next.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOriginal acrylic painting on rough-edged paper.
