Spring Tulips - OOAK

Oh Spring has SPRUNG in the beautiful city of Glasgow, and it really lifts the soul, doesn't it? Months of wind and rain and dark, it takes so little of the sun to truly change the landscape and the general spirits everywhere.

I walked outside on the fine day this painting was created and a lovely older gentleman yelled "It's here! The sun!" in celebration with me, it was a hilarious and fun way to start the day. So i came home and painted this homage to the changing season and the beautiful fragility of flowers, that remind us to live in the moment.
