Bright Eyes - Grizzly Study

When I left last year, I don't know why I didn't think about what the loss of bears would do to me. In fact, the thing that I thought was "it will be nice to walk in the woods without thinking about them."

I miss bears. A friend suggested I go see one in the zoo, but i am not a fan of watching an animal that is limitless in power know it has a very distinct limit. And I think that's the most glorious thing about seeing a bear in the wild. After the fear calms down, you are seeing something that is so pure in raw power and capability, but also loves to watch a sunset. Something that shakes every animal into the vicinity in silence, but also is a fantastic and sweet and nurturing mother. They are all things, and it is a very fortunate thing to me that I have been blessed to watch them all my life. 

I'll be back, grizzles, but for now I do admittedly enjoy strolling in the forest without worrying about you...Now wild boars on the other hand ;)
