This gloriously concerned little creature is part of my 100 Paintings Challenge and belongs to a growing universe of paintings that may or may not make any sense individually but become increasingly ridiculous when placed together.
She’s painted loosely on beautiful rough-edged paper against a very wonky blue checkerboard, because perfection would frankly be completely inappropriate here.
She is bright.
She is charming.
She is slightly alarmed.
And she would very much like someone to locate the banana.
I love the idea of these little paintings existing separately, but I love them even more when they start finding each other.
So yes, you can buy the chicken.
You can buy the banana.
But surely you’re not going to separate them?
Original acrylic painting on paper. Roughly 8.5 x 12. Hand torn. One of one Part of the 100 Paintings Challenge
